The session brought together PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career research managers. The programme covered professional pathways in European research management, core skills for project coordination, leadership, and innovation, as well as the Excellence–Impact–Implementation (EII) model used in Horizon Europe proposals.

Participants also explored topics related to stakeholder engagement, communication, and exploitation strategies, and were provided with a practical three-month roadmap supporting individual professional development.

The masterclass highlighted the growing importance of research managers in strengthening institutional capacity and enhancing the success of EU-funded projects. Participants expressed strong appreciation for the practical tools, strategic insights, and career-oriented guidance shared during the session.
