Prof. Maria Jesús Sánchez Martín and Prof. Mercè L. Lugany from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona were welcomed by the REDINN team - Dr. Leonardo Piccinetti, Fabio Buccolini, and Donatella Santoro.

The discussion was enriched by the participation of Prof. Danilo Corradini (CNR – Istituto di Sistemi Biologici), who presented potential synergies with the PATHFOOD project under Horizon Europe.

The talks focused on:
🔹 evaluating the Se4All project life cycle
🔹 maximizing outcomes beyond its completion
🔹 building synergies with EU-funded projects such as PATHFOOD
🔹 proposing new initiatives in the field of functional foods

The meeting confirmed the importance of international cooperation, knowledge exchange, and innovation in developing sustainable functional food systems in Europe and Latin America.

📅 On 6–7 November, PATHFOOD partners will meet in Barcelona for the General Assembly.
📅 In December, discussions will continue in Rome during an event held under the Italian Chemical Society and the FoodSafety4EU.
