On 7 November, during the second day of the PATHFOOD General Assembly in Barcelona, dedicated masterclasses were organised for early-career researchers and research managers. A large and engaged group of participants joined the sessions both on site at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and online.
The masterclasses offered a dynamic programme focused on practical knowledge, experience sharing, and in-depth discussions. Participants had the opportunity to strengthen their skills in research management and professional development within an international research environment.
The sessions were delivered by Sebastian Puculek from Lund University and Leonardo Piccinetti from REDINN, who provided concrete tools, guidance, and fresh perspectives on research management and EU grant writing, with a particular focus on the Horizon Europe framework.
The masterclasses highlighted the importance of creating spaces that support professional growth, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration in research, in line with the objectives of the PATHFOOD project.
