Hackathon topics (selected by teams). The following topics are illustrative and indicative examples only – the final topics will be announced at the beginning of the hackathon. The topics will focus on food products with health properties.
- Develop a marketing and branding strategy for selenium-enriched cabbage juice
- Identify key consumer segments for selenium-enriched functional foods
- Explore sustainable production methods for selenium-enriched cabbage juice
- Design and conduct a survey, analyze consumer attitudes
- Create science communication tools and outreach strategies
- And more - proposed by partners or developed by the teams
Who can join?
The hackathon is open to students, PhD candidates, and early-career researchers from PATHFOOD partner institutions.
To ensure team diversity and avoid pre-formed groups, participants must register individually. Participation is free, but spots are limited.
When and where?
- Dates: 13–14 October 2025
- Venue: Biological and Chemical Research Centre, University of Warsaw, Żwirki i Wigury 101, Warsaw, Poland
- Format: Hybrid (on-site & Microsoft Teams)
- Duration: 36 hours of creative teamwork
